Everything you need to get the most out of Chore Quest.
Tap Start onboarding from the home screen. Pick a family name, motto, crest emoji, mascot, and color palette. You can edit these later in Parent Mode.
Open Parent Mode → Home → Family Members or finish onboarding. Each child gets a name, nickname, age role (4–7 / 8–12 / 13–17), and a personalized avatar.
Tap any member tile, then Edit Avatar. Mix hair, eyes, outfit, hat, pets, and backgrounds. Some items unlock through achievements or seasonal events.
In Parent Mode go to Chores → ＋ New. Choose a category, points, allowance amount, who it's assigned to, and the schedule (daily/weekly/once).
When a child marks a chore complete it appears in Approve. Tap to approve (awards points + allowance) or send back for a redo with a note.
Open Allowance in Parent Mode. See what's owed per child, log a payment, and view full history. Nothing is sent to a bank — this is a ledger only.
Parent Mode → Goals (＋). Pick a goal type (points, streaks, weekly %, family chores, helping each other, custom), a target, and a reward event like Pizza Night.
Open this site in Safari, tap the Share button, then Add to Home Screen. The app icon will appear like a native app.
Open in Chrome. Tap the Install app banner or the ⋮ menu → Install app / Add to Home Screen.
Yes. After your first visit the app shell is cached. All family data lives on your device in IndexedDB and is available offline.
